Kwong Satay
The family traces back to the 1960s, when the grandfather sold satay from a trishaw in Katong; Sim Peng Kuen runs it now, having moved from Lorong 29 to Lorong 27A in 2019. Charcoal-grilled pork belly and pork loin, with a sauce said to carry eighteen herbs and spices and mashed sugar-boiled pineapple.
